I was Born & Raised in The Mission and in
the 80s, I was little at the time and remember that all the older cool ppl wore them. Back in the day the only place I knew that you could get “The Derby” was at this mens shop called "Siegals… Those were the days.

I wore these black and gold Derby jackets through high school in the mid 70s and after that till they were discontinued. I still have one of my original black jackets, I used for work back then and it’s toast.. I found it at my brothers hanging in his garage, yeah after 40 plus years there it was covered in paint, nice..kinda thinner back then, they actually had true sizes back in the day I wore 44 then with greasy hair and bens…now old school my fit is a husky xxl that’s life..right? actually picked up one of the first jackets that came out from you guys a few years ago from owner who restarted Derby for the young and old locals …looking forward to another new “black jack” thanks… giannirotten
